Richard J. Lee is Of Counsel at Militzok & Levy. Richard focuses his practice primarily on complex civil litigation and civil appeals in Florida State and Federal Courts and complex business transactions. As a member of the Florida and federal bars since 1977, Richard J. Lee has helped large and small businesses from around the World for more than 30 years. Richard Lee has extensive litigation experience that is a byproduct of the hundreds of trials Richard has handled in the Florida State and Federal Courts over his 30 year legal career. Prior to entering private practice Richard worked as a clerk for Judge E.P. Sawyer, father of renowned journalist Diane Sawyer. Before commencing the private practice of law, Richard was an Accountant with AAF International, a worldwide corporation, and then in the business department of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., (n/k/a KPMG), then the world’s largest firm of accountants. Richard has worked for Tew, Critchlow, Sonberg, Scott & Traum (now known as Tew Cardenas) and then Schwartz, Nash, Heckerling, Tescher & Kantor. During his career Richard has served as Chairman of several important bar committees, as an adjunct professor at Florida International University School of Business, Masters program, and as a lecturer on various topics to members of the bar. Richard has been featured in Who’s Who in American Law since 1992.
